FM in Asia: Facilities Management Beyond Boundaries

Organizer’s Statement Regarding the Protests in Hong Kong

In response to enquiries about whether the protests in Hong Kong will affect the programme, the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Hong Kong Chapter issues a statement: “Considering the location of the WWAsia  2014 in Happy Valley, we conclude that the World Workplace Asia 2014 programme will be unaffected by the protests. The event will proceed as normal and we look forward to greeting you there.”

For those staying near the Central or Mongkok districts and not in our recommended hotels, transportation via MTR is recommended over taxi. Delegates taking the MTR (subway system) should get off at Causeway Bay station on the Island Line, and exit through exit A. For a map showing how to get from Causeway Bay MTR exit A to the venue, please refer to our "Getting Around" section.
