C & W ServicesUtilities CouncilFoundation

The Doug Underwood/Utilities Council of IFMA golf tournament is just around the corner and this year we are celebrating our 27th Anniversary of the golf tournament! This year we are raising funds to award $10,000 in scholarships at World Workplace Houston, Texas

The Doug Underwood/Utilities Council Golf Tournament is a fund-raising event run by the IFMA Utilities Council. Proceeds of the tournament are used to fund scholarships awarded through the IFMA foundation to undergraduate or graduate students majoring in Facilities Management. Proceeds are also used to pay the student’s expenses to attend IFMA’s World Workplace to receive the scholarship. By attending World Workplace, the student also benefits from meeting practicing facility managers and facility business partners to learn about current issues that relate to the profession.

The golf tournament, a best ball scramble format intended for players of all levels, is held each year on the Tuesday preceding World Workplace. This year the tournament will be held in the Houston area at TOUR 18 GOLF, 3102 FM 1960 East, Humble, TX 77338 () on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. The Tour 18 Golf Course is a PGA replica course that has reproduced renowned tournament holes from past US Open, The Masters, The Tour Championship, and the PGA Championship.

We hope you can join us for a fun day of golf and comradery. See you in Houston!
